"See you this evening after the sunset" "What sunset?"

It will be difficult to agree on an appointment like this in the Fram Strait, at latitudes between 77° and 81° N, well above the Arctic Polar Circle.
Spring equinox was nearly two months ago and the terminator is moving every day further away from the North Pole.
It is the famous "midnight sun" written in schoolbooks: look this video or this animation to have an idea of this phenomenon.
I look forward to see it with my eyes!

Sarà difficile che un appuntamento del genere vada a buon fine nella zona dello Stretto di Fram, a latitudini che si estendono da circa 77° a 81° N, ben oltre il Circolo Polare Artico.
L'equinozio di primavera è passato da un mese e mezzo ed il circolo di illuminazione si allontana dal Polo Nord ogni giorno di più.
E' il famoso sole di mezzanotte di cui si legge sui libri di scuola: per averne un'idea provate a guardare
questo filmato oppure quest'animazione.
Non vedo l'ora di osservare il fenomeno con i miei occhi!
