This strait (named after a ship famous for polar exploration) separates Atlantic Ocean from Arctic Ocean between Greenland (West) and Svalbard Islands (East).
About Fram ship, between nineteen and twentieth centuries it carried well known explorers as Fridtjof Nansen and Roald Amundsen both in the Arctic and in Antartica, where Amundsen first reached the South Pole. Fram ship, beautifully restored, can be seen in the Fram Museum in Oslo.

Dov'è lo Stretto di Fram?
Lo stretto in questione (prende il nome da una nave celebre per le esplorazioni polari) separa l'Oceano Atlantico dall'Oceano Artico tra la Groenlandia (a ovest) e le Isole Svalbard (a est).
Quanto alla nave Fram, nei decenni a cavallo tra '800 e '900 portò esploratori famosi come Fridtjof Nansen e Roald Amundsen sia in Artico che in Antartide, dove Amundsen per primo raggiunse il Polo Sud.
La nave Fram, restaurata, è visibile nell'omonimo museo di Oslo.
